Every year millions of loving adoptable dogs enter county shelters across the United States. While many shelters work tirelessly to save lives they all face the same unavoidable limitation: they can only adopt dogs to the people who live nearby. When the number of dogs coming in exceeds the number of local adopters good dogs are left with no options.
Furry Tail Rescue exists to remove that limitation.
Our long term goal is to build a shelter model supported by a nationwide audience. Rather than relying solely on local populations, we are working toward a centralized shelter and rescue operation powered by a national network of adopters, fosters, and rescue partners.
